This is the best which I would like to share about our academy. Although we began with a small group of students, we have grown from strength-to-strength year to year and we are continually growing not just in numbers but also in the success rates. We do not want to boast about our success but it’s vital to share the outcome of the hard work put into by both teachers and students.
We can proudly say we are the only institute in the whole of Cambridgeshire which uses a classroom-based teaching/learning environment and yet have had excellent results.
Dear Parents,
I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you to St. Mary’s Educational Academy, a Christian institution devoted to the patronage of Blessed Mother Mary. Our organisation is committed to providing excellence in education. Still, we believe that education is not just about academic excellence but also about nurturing the whole person, including spiritual and moral development. As a Christian organisation, we draw inspiration from the life and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, and our dedication to Blessed Mother Mary represents our deep commitment to these values.
Our experienced teachers and skilled teaching assistants use an organised and structured scheme which works in line with the National Curriculum, allowing students to work at expected or exceeding expectation levels in the schools they attend, be it a Grammar school or any other.
We believe every child has their own strengths and weaknesses but with the right mind set, environment, approach and teaching styles, the child can be trained to achieve greatness in all aspects: academic and life.

We have been coaching keen Year 5 students since2013; these were those who want to join Grammar Schools. We have also been offering intensive Grammar School coaching during summer holidays. This helps them be motivated and exceed their potential.
Parent
This has been a very good experience for my daughter. She had well-balanced types of questions that helped her in so many ways. I would definitely recommend St. Mary’s Educational Academy Ltd to anyone that is looking for a very good and efficient 11+ institute.
Medical Student
Hi, I am Merlin Noshy, currently a Fourth Year Medical Student. St. Marys Educational Academy has helped me throughout both my GCSEs and A-levels. Topics were covered in-depth and this allowed me to understand concepts that I struggled with at school. Regular end of topic and semester exams were conducted at the academy to which constructive feedback were given to individual students. Extra materials and classes were also given to improve on the area that I needed more support.
After my GCSEs, I was given an opportunity to teach Mathematics at the Academy to younger students which was a rewarding experience that boosted my confidence. I recommended St. Marys Academy to my younger siblings and my brother was able to secure a place at a local Grammar school through attending their 11+ coaching. The academy is well-organized and has a professional manner of conduct. All the teaching staff are qualified and very passionate about helping out all the students to achieve their true potential. I highly recommend St. Marys Educational Academy.
University of Leeds - Computer Science
In a matter of a few years, St. Mary’s Educational Academy was able to assist me in boosting my grade and furthering my ability in Math to a level till then unreachable. The help I received at the academy enabled me to attain a Grade 9 in maths. I now study Computer Science at the University of Leeds, a place I otherwise would not have achieved without the skills I have developed at this academy.
Swansea University - Mechanical Engineering
Hi, my name is Jaiden I’m currently a student at Swansea University, I’ve just finished my first year studying mechanical engineering. I have been part of St Mary’s educational academy for around 7 years.
Throughout my time at St Mary’s I have developed many skills, both academically and socially. At this institution, you always have things to do, and in subjects such as maths, practice will help improve your competence. Teachers are always pushing you to do extra work. They are friendly and always know what they are doing. Usually, you are put in classes that are determined by year groups. This gives students the opportunity to make friends with people that are potentially in a different school, of different ethnicity and cultures. As a previous student at St Mary’s, I managed to achieve great results for my GCSEs and got into a local grammar school, this would not have been possible without the help I received from my time there. As well as this I volunteered to teach here as part of my DofE, which then lead to me getting a job that I would do in the summer. Tuition is an exceptional environment for your child to increase their knowledge and develop as a person. I highly recommend taking part in this even if it’s only for GCSEs.
Coventry University - Mechanical Engineering
St. Mary’s Education Academy really helped me in achieving a grade 9 in GCSE Maths. The tutor was very helpful in answering any questions we had and always made sure we had plenty of resources to learn from so we were able to fully understand a topic before moving on.
I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Coventry University. I have just completed my first year and will be looking to start my second year in September.
Aston University, Birmingham - MSc Business Economics
I joined St. Mary’s Educational Academy looking for guidance and tutoring in A level maths throughout Year 12 and 13. During my time at the academy, I was able to learn in an environment of support, and in a system which was tailored to my strengths in learning methods. Lecturer’s interactive approach towards teaching was effective and concise, which was especially useful during exam seasons. Regular testing throughout academic terms along with extra classes during the holidays is a testament to the academy’s commitment in wanting the best for their students. This commitment allowed me to remain focused and constantly prepare for exams, all the while enabling me to develop a sense of self-belief in my mathematical and academic abilities.
I am currently a postgraduate student at Aston University, Birmingham, studying MSc Business Economics and Finance. The knowledge and academic skills that I developed from my time at St. Mary’s Educational Academy has continued to be crucial in the progression of my education and career, for which I am very grateful to the teachers and St. Mary’s Educational Academy.
We believe we are a unique tuition centre. Not only do we teach our students but also care about their future. Therefore, we are different in what we offer. If you are passionate about teaching and prove your eligibility, we will be opening our doors to you as well. So why wait!
